The Card Concept Challenge #145-Festive Celebrations

Hello my stampy friends!!!
We are back with another challenge here at

It is December 1rst!!!!
WOW!
The holiday season is upon us and this inspiration board reflects just that!
I love gold and black!

I was inspired by the gold and black to create my Mixed Media  Style card. I started with a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor card stock.  I applied Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress inks onto a craft mat, then spritzed them with a water spray. I dipped the watercolor card stock into the ink mixture over and over until I got the colored results I wanted. After it was dry, I stenciled some snowflakes with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I also stamped a script stamp all over the panel.

I used the snowflake stencil again to stencil snowflakes onto some black card stock with gold ink. I  stamped all over this with some stamp images , then heat embossed the images with gold embossing powder. I used  Spellbinders Distressed Edge dies to cut both panels.

I stamped the poinsettia on distressed water color paper as well with Versamark ink. I  heat embossed the poinsettia with gold embossing powder. I die cut some holly leaves and pine boughs  with gold foil paper, then placed them behind the sentiment.

The style of my card would be

 Mixed Media

2 or more mediums

    (inks,embossing powder, pencils,watercolor, ets)

May include dimensionals

(Embossing paste, gesso, fabric, papers, foil)

May include heated elements

Can be a variety of styles

(Clean & Simple, Graphic, Shabby Chic, Grunge)

A Folio Christmas Card for Maymay Made It

Hello my stampy friends!
I wanted to share the fun folio style card I created using some gorgeous papers from Echo Park called "Away in a Manger".
I created this card for MayMay Made it.

I created 3 tags to place in the inside pocket, but you could easily use the pocket as a Gift Card Holder!!!

There was no stamping involved, just the use of the beautiful pattern paper and the cut aparts!
I had so much fun making this card.
I was inspired by the super talented Kathy By Design!!!

I stamped lots of acorns, pine cones and leaves in different fall colors. Then I punched them out with their matching punches. I placed them along the edge of a die cut circle from white card stock.

I added a beautiful ribbon and twine bow!
And I had to add some bling!!!!
Gold sequins and my Wink of Stella glitter pen on all of the leaves!

Welcome my stampy friends!
It is time for a new challenge here at the

Look at this gorgeous photo!

The colors are so beautiful together.
That is what inspired my Clean & Layered style card.

I started my card by using a stencil. I temporarily taped the stencil to a piece of Mint Macaron card stock, and sponged Mint Macaron ink to get a tone-on-tone look. Next, I used a stitched rectangle die and die cut a panel.
I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla card stock.  I used a  scallop square die and Blackberry Bliss card stock to make a frame for this panel.

I stamped the leaf images onto Very Vanilla card stock and cut them out with their matching dies. I attached the leaves with foam tape to the border strip that I had created at the bottom of the Mint Macaron panel.

And for fun, I stamped a row of cows along the bottom of the inside of the card! Aren't they cute?
