The Card Concept Challenge #207- The Red, White & Blue

Hello my stamping friends!

I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the nice spring weather! 

It has been gorgeous here in North Carolina !

Beautiful Azaleas everywhere and all the green sprouting from the trees!

We are starting a new challenge today at

Here is the photo inspiration: 

I was inspired by the pretty red flowers and the red, white & blue colors to create my Mother’s Day card!

Here is my card:

I decided to use this beautiful embossing folder and some navy card stock to create the background.

I die cut some red flowers, leaves and flower centers out of white Card Stock and then I colored them with some Copic Markers.  I added Black Stickles to the centers of the flowers.

I die cut a scalloped circle with some white card stock. 

I stamped the sentiment, then adhered the flowers around it with foam adhesive.

I think they just pop against that navy background.

This is a card with a surprise inside!!!

A seed packet!!!!

I saw another card maker do a tutorial for this card, and I thought it was so fun!

Especially for a Mother's Day Card!

You could even add a gift card inside or give the card with some special garden tools!

Those pretty Zinnias were created with a new die set from Stampin Up called Simply Zinnia!

I am in love with this stamp and die set!

The Card Concept Challenge #205 - Spring Has Sprung

Welcome my stampy friends to our new challenge starting today at

Here is our Inspiration Photo: 

I was inspired by the pretty spring colors to create my 

Clean & Layered Style card

Here is my card:

First, I stamped the image onto thick white card stock with Versamark Ink.

Next, I sprinkled the stamped image with Gilded Embossing Powder and melted the powder with my Heat Gun.

I water colored the flowers with Stampin Up inks and a water brush. When dry, I used the matching dies to cut out the image.  I adhered foam strips behind the image before attaching it to the pattern paper panel.

I just love how this card turned out!

So Springy!

Here is my card:

These cute trees are from a Stampin Up set called Merriest Trees. I stamped them first on white card stock and then used their matching dies to cut them out.

I adhered the green trees with foam adhesive to add some dimension.

I just love how this card turned out!
