VACATION TIME!!!
Ahhhhh! Sounds so wonderful!
Our vacation will be a week at the beach with our son and daughter-in-law. I cannot wait!
Sunshine, ocean, beach umbrella, good books with a few good drinks!
My Happy Place!
My second happy place is at the lake. My sister invites us often to her place at Lake Norman!

I have recently gotten the ephemera bug!
What I mean by that, is I have started to enjoy making cards with chipboard, stickers, ephemera and pattern paper. I used to think that I could only use stamps, ink and card stock!
But now there are so many pretty choices to pick from!
I die cut a "lake" with some Pool Party (StampinUp) card stock with some new dies that I recently purchased. Then, I placed the stickers around the lake.
I had some more stickers and made a second card!
I hope I have inspired you to create a card or project to share with us!!!
The style of my card would be considered

~Embellishments/accents
~Clean & Fresh looking
~Some colored images
~White space

Mackie, both of these cards are spectacular! Love the background paper as well as the stickers and other ephemera! Definitely frame-worthy for sure! Hugs and thanks again for being such an inspiration to us all, sweet friend!

Mackie, you're drawing me into paper, stickers, etc. with these 2 great cards. My favorite is the first cards but the design and layout for both are just perfect! I have a hard time using ephemera...I'll have to try it!
