The Card Concept

It's snow time at the Card Concept!!!
Isn't this inspiration board sweet????
LOVE!

And here is my card:

I was inspired by the sweet snowman and that wooden sign to create my  card.

The snowman is a Penny Black die that I have had for a very long time and will always be a favorite of mine! I die cut the snowman out of heavy white card stock, then added a little shading with colored pencils and a blending tool.  The background was created with a snow stencil and LOTS of splatters of white acrylic paint.

I believe the style of my card would be considered
 Mixed Media.

*2 or more mediums
(inks, embossing powder, pencils, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, pigments, etc.)
*May include dimensionals (embossing paste, gesso, fabric, papers, foil)
*May include heated elements
*Can be a variety of styles (CAS, Graphic, Shabby Chic, Grunge)
*Basically use 2 or more mediums qualifies as Mixed Media

I hope I have inspired you to join us here at

What a sweet scene! Don't you love when when can use something from your stash that has been there awhile? All elements work so well together!
