The Card Concept Challenge # 188-Floral Valentine

Hello my stampy friends!
I hope all of you are doing well and having lots of stamping fun!

We have a new challenge starting today at the

I  hope this photo will inspire you to play with us!

I was inspired to create a Mixed Media Style card by the colors, flowers and hearts!

*2 or more mediums
(inks, embossing powder, pencils, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, pigments, etc.)
*May include dimensionals (embossing paste, gesso, fabric, papers, foil)
*May include heated elements
*Can be a variety of styles (CAS, Graphic, Shabby Chic, Grunge)
*Basically use 2 or more mediums qualifies as Mixed Media

And here is my card:

I began by die cutting the flowers with white card stock. I then colored the flowers with a sponge foam and Distress Oxide inks.

I then took a background panel of white card stock and sponged it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I spritzed it with water with my distress sprayer.

I tried to mimic the flower boxes with gray and black card stock, which I added some white hearts.

The sentiments are from the Tim Holtz Small Talk Sticker book.

I hope that I have inspired you to join our challenge!
