The Card Concept Challenge # 177 - Make It Masculine

 

Welcome my stampy friends to a new 

Card Concept Challenge starting today!

Here is our new Inspiration Photo:

Make It Masculine 

I was inspired by the wildlife in the photo to create my 

Clean & Layered style card.

~Clean lines

~Lots of Layers

~Designer papers, embossing

~Embellishments/accents

~Clean & Fresh looking

~Some colored images

~White space

This inspiration photo let me know that I don't have very many masculine or animal stamps!

I need to change that!

I did find this brand new pattern paper from Stampin Up in my stash called Happy Forest Friends!

I got the paper in a Paper Share with a Stampin Up demonstrator and hadn't purchased the matching stamps that go with this paper.

So I used my paper! I placed a rectangle die on the paper in an area where I wanted to cut for my background. Then, I took the scraps and Fussy Cut a bear, a bird and some flowers to add to the background to create a forest scene. I put foam squares on the back of the fussy cut images to pop them up and add some dimension.  I layered some Cajun Craze card stock behind the panel.  And then adhered  these to a Mossy Meadow A2 size card base.

I think it turned out really cute!

This paper is adorable!
