The Card Concept Challenge #134-Mother's Day

Welcome to a new challenge starting today at the
Card Concept!

Aren't the flowers beautiful in our new inspiration photo?
I knew right away I wanted to use my Stampin Up Forever Blossoms stamps and matching dies,
to create my Classic & Elegant style card.

I stamped the images onto white card stock with Versamark ink. I covered the images with gold embossing powder, and I heat set them with heat tool.

I used alcohol markers to color the images. Next I cut them out with their matching dies.

I attached the flowers and gold filagree to a panel of white card stock, which I had embossed.

So many of you participated with our last challenge!!!
We appreciate that so much!
It's great seeing all of that wonderful talent!!!

The style of my card would be considered

Classy & Elegant:
Polished
Shiny finish
Sparkling embellishments
Rich color scheme
Sophisticated sentiments
Regal
Sweeping
Dramatic

Peaceful Moments

Hello my stamping friends.
I have been spending lots of time in my craft room during this Stay AT Home time. It really hasn't been too hard for me and my husband. We are both such home bodies! However we have been worrying a lot about our loved ones health.

I wanted to share one of the cards that I created to send to one of my friends, who I have missed greatly!

I stamped the images onto vellum card stock with Versamark ink.
I sprinkled white embossing powder of the stamped images, and then set with a heat gun.
I colored the backside of the stamped images with Stampin Up blends.
I cut the images out with their matching dies.

The back panel is a 3 1/4 X 5 inch piece of thick Whisper White card stock.
I placed that panel into the Basket Weave embossing folder and ran it thru the Big Shot.
I adhered a 1 1/2 X 5 inch piece of striped card stock to the left of the embossed panel, leaving a half inch border.

I attached the flowers with glue dots.
I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of black card stock with Versamark ink, then sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I set this with my heat gun, then attached to my card.

This is how I have been staying in touch with my loved ones during this time!
I usually just put my cards in a box somewhere!

Please take care of yourselves!

The Card Concept Challenge #133-Hello Spring!

Welcome my stampy friends!
I hope all of you have been healthy!
So far my family and friends have been virus free.
And I am so thankful!
Praise God!

I have spending lots of time in my craft room
aka my therapy room!

We are starting our new challenge today

Nothing says spring better than beautiful flowers!!!
And that is what inspired my Mixed Media style card.

The first thing I did was cut some sheets of Bristol white paper. Then I pulled out my Color Bursts.
They seem to be really on trend right now!
I had so much fun playing with these Color Bursts!
So many beautiful colors!

After my papers had dried, I took several different punches and made some flowers and leaves.
I stamped a background on the back panel with some script and pretty leaves in Crumb Cake ink. I attached the flowers to that panel to create a beautiful bouquet ! I added some Nuvo Drops as some extra dimension.

The style of my card would be Mixed Media

2 or more mediums
such as inks, watercolors, stamps,
fabrics, foil.
Anything that adds texture to your project
