Hello!!!!

I just received the Simon Says July 2016 Card Kit!!!

Wow!!! I am in love!!!!

I had to start playing right away!!!

I stamped the beautiful flowers that came in the card kit on watercolor paper . I colored them with some Distress inks and water. And fussy cut them out.

Next, I attached the images onto this beautiful paper that was included in the card kit! I can't wait to make some more cards!!!

I thought the colors in my card would qualify for this week's Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamps ...so I am going to join them!!!

 Hi guys! Hope you have had a fantastic weekend! It has been kinda gloomy here in the Piedmont, but warm. So I can't complain! I just hope the weather stays good for tomorrow night, so the Panthers can whoop up on the Patriots!!!! Grrrrrrrowwwwlll!!!!!

Enough about all that....

I wanted to share a card that I made this afternoon.

 I loosely followed

CAS(E) this sketch # 54!

And I think it turned out so cute!!!

The Christmas tree is a Simon Says die. I cut it out in white card stock and then colored the branches with Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks. This die actually cuts out ornaments and a star too, but I wanted to add some dimension. So I used red sequins and a Tim Holtz mirrored star that I colored with a Copic marker. 

The sketch called for some type of horizontal line on the background, so I decided to use the sentiment and Christmas lights from a real cute stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Peace Joy Love.  I colored the little lights with my Copics.
