Stampin Up Very Versailles and Fanciful Fragrance

Hello stampy friends!
I'm just popping in to share some cards I created with two stamp sets
from the current Stampin Up catalog.
As soon as I saw these stamps, I had to have them!!!

Fanciful Fragrances
Very Versailles

Below are 2 cards that I made using these stamp sets as well as some other Stampin' Up products!

First, I heat embossed the perfume images from Fanciful Fragrances with white embossing powder.
I used the Melon Mambo and Soft Suede ink refills to watercolor around the embossed images. The areas that are embossed resist the watercolor.

Next, I stamped a 3 3/4 X 5 piece of Very Vanilla card stock with various images from Fanciful Fragrances and Very Versailles in a collage type style, Then I sponged the edges of the panel lightly with Soft Suede, Tip Top Taupe and Melon Mambo inks.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments with white embossing powder onto Soft Suede card stock and die cut the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies.

For embellishments, I added some Burlap ribbon and pearls.

I truly love the way these cards turned out!

The Card Concept Challenge # 119 -Beautiful Butterflies

The Card Concept Challenge is back from Summer Break!!!!
We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and we hope you are ready to create with us again!
We LOVE seeing all of your beautiful creations!

Look at this gorgeous Inspiration Board!

I love, love, love these beautiful colors!!!!!
And butterflies!!!! WOW!!!

Here is my card:

I am a huge fan of Debby Hughes-Lime Doodle Designs. She has a unique and beautiful technique of no-line watercoloring. I gave it a try. Of course it is no where near her quality, but I think my card turned out quite pretty.
 I definitely enjoyed creating it!

I stamped the butterfly images onto watercolor paper with  Antique Linen Distress Ink. I painted the images with  Gansai Tambi water colors. I splattered the butterflies with the paint colors, but I also mixed some Perfect Pearls to some water, and splattered that as well. Debby always does this to her watercolor images to add sparkle! Well...I wanted even more sparkle, so I added some sequins, too!

I hope I have inspired you to join us here at

The style of my card would be considered Clean & Simple:
One main image
Lots of open space
Limited layers and embellishements
Quick & easy to create

We hope you will create a card or project using any of the  styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles.
All of the styles are explained HERE.

The Rules:

1.  Use the challenge inspiration to create a card.
2.  Use one of the challenge styles to create a card (or if you prefer, combine a few styles).
3.  Explain in a post which style or combination of styles you used and what inspired you from our photo.
