Card Concept Challenge # 81

Welcome to another challenge here at the
CARD CONCEPT!

I adore poinsettias, so I was excited when I saw this Inspiration Board! I had received a new stamp by Sunny Studio called Petite Poinsettias, and now I had the perfect reason to pull it out and play!

I loved using this stamp set, because it was so easy with the 3 layer process! My Misti was the perfect tool for these stamps. I stamped the first 2 layers with 2 different shades of red and the final layer with Versamark ink, so I could heat emboss with gold embossing powder.  After I stamped the images, I decided to sponge the background with some Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress inks for a vintage look. Then I stamped some musical notes, and added ink splatters and some Nuvo Crystal drops.

Finally, I stamped a separate poinsettia and I die cut it with the matching die. I die cut some leaves with green card stock, and heat embossed veins of the leaves with gold embossing powder. After I curled the edges of the leaves and poinsettia, I adhered them to my card with foam tape for extra dimension.

This is the first Christmas card that I have made this year! I had better get busy!

I hope I have inspired you to join us for this challenge!
I love seeing all of your beautiful creations!

pastels, watercolor, charcoal, pigments, mica powder, etc.)

May include Heated elements
Can be a variety of styles-CAS, Graphic, Shabby Chic, Grunge

Oh wow, is it November 1rst !!!!
Where has this year gone???
But that means we have a new
Anything Goes Inspiration Challenge here
at PAPER SWEETIES starting today!

Our Inspiration Board is perfect for this time of year!

And here is my card:

I loved the photo so much, that I decided to just CASE it!
I immediately thought of the PAPER SWEETIES Sweet Border stamps and matching Sweet Cuts. I die cut all three with white card stock and then sponged them with Distress Inks.

I created the pumpkin the same way. The pumpkin is from the PAPER SWEETIES Thankful stamp set and matching Sweet Cuts.

I hope I have inspired you to play with us! You could be our next Guest Designer and win a $25 gift card to the Paper Sweeties Shoppe!
