The Card Concept Challenge #

Welcome to another challenge here at the Card Concept!
I just love this photo. I was so totally inspired by the bright autumn colors against the beautiful white cake.

Sorry... but I am still loving my Colorful Seasons-Stampin Up Thinlets ! I created my card with this set for our last challenge, as well!!! I die cut two branches and a leaf with white card stock, and used specialty papers to cut some other leaves.

PLUS...the gorgeous Colorful Seasons-Simon Says Stamps stamp set for those beautiful patterned leaves.

I hope I have inspired you to join us for this challenge!

My card style would be considered a Clean and Layered :

Some colored images at times
Lots of White Space

The Card Concept Challenge #79

Welcome to another

I was totally inspired by the luscious cream and silver colors in this Inspiration photo!

I  wanted to try a technique that I recently saw on a
Jennifer McGuire - Creative Partial Die Cutting video
 to make my card.

I followed the instructions by Jennifer McGuire and die cut a leaf shape on my card about 2/3 down from the top of the card. Next, I used Versamark ink and stamped some beautiful leaves and heat embossed them with Nuvo Silver Moonlight Embossing Powder. One of the leaves was cut with silver foil paper. I then placed them on the leaf shape that I had cut out on the top panel. Watch Jennifer's video if this isn't making any sense! Haha!

I  added Nuvo Silver Lining Crystal Drops and a silver bow tied with silver string to complete my card!

The gorgeous leaves and sentiment are from my Stampin Up Colorful Season stamp set and matching Thinlits.  If you do not have this set...I STRONGLY recommend it!!!

I hope I have inspired you to join us here at
THE CARD CONCEPT CHALLENGE !!

Live Joyfully

It is October 1!!!
Can you believe it????
So that means it is time to start a new
Anything Goes Inspiration Challenge
here at PAPER SWEETIES!!

Here is our Inspiration Photo:

I just love the colors in this photo!

 And here is my card:

As soon as I saw the photo I thought of this Paper Sweeties stamp set-THANKFUL. I love the pumpkin and flowers in this set! I stamped the images with black Archival ink onto some watercolor card stock. I colored the images with my Zig Clean Color markers and Distress inks. After coloring the images, I fussy cut them out. I didn't use their matching Sweet Cut dies, because I didn't want a white edge around them.

I added some pretty pattern paper banners to the upper left corner of the card base. I ink smeared the lower right corner with Carved Pumpkin distress ink. When it was dry, I stamped the sentiment. The sentiment is from the beautiful  KINDNESS MATTERS  stamp set. The final touch was to add some beautiful Paper Sweetie sequins!

I hope I have inspired you to play with us! You could be our next Guest Designer and win a $25 gift card to the Paper Sweeties Shoppe!
