The Card Concept Challenge # 65

Hello my stampy friends! Hope you are having a fabulous week!
I am here to share the newest challenge we have starting today at the
  Card Concept
We were amazed at the gorgeous creations that you shared with at our last challenge!
We had over 60 entries!!! So much inspiration!

And I LOVE this photo inspiration!

The bright orange and hot pink colors against the stark white inspired me right away!
I knew I wanted to make a Clean and Graphic style card.

I sponged Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks onto watercolor paper. Then sprinkled it with water.

I just got this adorable Flower Power die from Stamps of Life and I thought it would be perfect for my card! I think the Flower Power die cut  looks great over the distress inked panel. I die cut the hello(Lawn Fawn). You can't see this very well in the photo, but the hello was colored with a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen and then covered in Glossy Accents!

I hope you will be inspired to join us here at

Please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles.  We want you to have fun with our inspiration!

Paper Sweeties January 2017 Release Rewind!

Hello my stampy friends!
Welcome to the Paper Sweeties REWIND Party!

It's time to show you how easy it is to mix the newest Paper Sweeties Stamps and Sweet Cuts with older releases to make all kinds of cards and projects!

Here is what's New:

The first step to my card was to create a background by stamping the sunshine and heart images from the new SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW stamp set over and over onto watercolor paper. Next I water colored them with Distress inks.

Next, I created a collage for the center piece. I stamped the rainbow, cloud and  hearts stamps and colored them with Copic Markers. Next I cut them out with their matching Sweet Cuts.

The "hugs" is from an older Sweet Cut set called THANKS. I  loved the way the sentiment goes with this die cut! I die cut the word HUG four times, then glued them all together to add thickness. Then I added Glossy Accents to make the word shine!

It is so easy to use ALL of the Paper Sweetie products together!

Please visit my Paper Sweetie Teammies for some more fabulous inspiration on how to mix and match the new with the old!

Paper Sweeties January 2017 Release Day!

Hello my stampy friends!
Welcome to the Paper Sweeties Release Party!

Here is what's New:

You are going to love this month's NEW stamps!
They are so sweet! There is this cute little house, hearts, a rainbow, clouds, and that adorable sunshine!

I used lots of bright cheery colors for my card today!

I stamped the images with Black Archival ink onto some Bristol Smooth card stock, so I could color the images with Zig Clean Color markers. I framed my scene with a stitched hexagon die.
I think this would be a perfect card for so many occasions!

Paper Sweeties January 2017 Inspiration Challenge

Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and I hope all of you have a blessed 2017!

Welcome to the January 2017 Inspiration Challenge
 here at PAPER SWEETIES!
We hope you will continue to play with us each month!
It is so much fun seeing all of your wonderful creations!

Here is our adorable Inspiration Board:

I was inspired by the snowmen's cute little beanies and scarves!

So I pulled out my PS HOLLY DAYS stamp set and matching Sweet Cuts to make my snowman. I colored him with Copic Markers and then added sone accents with Glossy Accents and Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I was also inspired by the snow covered trees. I made my tree with the PS MERRY & BRIGHT Sweet Cuts. I die cut the tree with white card stock, which I colored with Twisted Citron Distress ink. Next I took a spatula and smeared some white embossing paste to make the snow. I just love the way this turned out.

Hope you have been inspired by my snowman shaker card!
