Christmas Trees

Welcome to another ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE here at 7KIDS!
I really hope you will join us this week! I am always amazed at the gorgeous creations I see of those who join us! You will be inspired!

I made this card with the Evergreen Pivot Card die by Elizabeth Craft Designs, which is available at 7KIDS.  The designer of this die is the wonderfully talented Karen Burniston. I was lucky enough to attend a class that she was teaching at my favorite local stamp shop-Stamper's Alley. We made some very pretty cards! She was such a fun person. If you look to the left sidebar of my blog, you will see a photo that she graciously allowed me to take!

Believe it or not, this Pivot Card die makes it easy to produce lots of pretty cards, that will be sure to WOW your friends and family this Christmas season!

Card Open:

First, you score a  5.5 X 8.5 piece of heavy white card stock in the middle.
You line up the pivot card die over the fold line and die cut. We embossed the edges in class, and I really liked that. So I added this step to my card, too. The die comes with the 3 Christmas trees and stars. These dies will also emboss!  Now the fun begins and you can embellish any way you want!
I used Viva Pearl Pens to decorate my trees! The stars and strips of paper are yellow glitter paper.

Card Closed:

Hope you liked my card!!!

Don't forget to join in the fun at our new

Totally cool cut on this card. What's more fun than opening up a string of trees to add to your holiday cheer. Beautifully done!
