Paper Doll Princess

Hello crafty friends! Hope you are doing well. I have been having some family issues with my sweet aging mother.  My mom is 87 years old. She chose to live in an Assisted Living facility 8 years ago. All was well, until about 4 months ago. Now they can no longer take care of her needs and have advised us that it is time that she move to a skilled care facility. This has been an emotionally difficult time. But I have faith that things are going to work out as God has planned it. Thank goodness I can retreat to my little craft room. I find peace of mind there.

I wanted to share a card that I have made using some LaLa Land products that you can find in our 7KIDS Store!

This wild and crazy card was made with the Marci Paper Doll Princess (LaLa Land) stamp.
I colored her skin, socks, and shoes with Copic Markers. Everything else has been paper pieced!
I added some Glossy Accents to her belt and shoes.
Hope you like my crazy card!

Please join the fun with our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge here!
We always feature the Top Three and have a $25 gift certificate to our Store!

Thanks for stopping by!
Mackie

It so hard for us to watch our parents age while we love them so much. The good side is she will have the care she needs and it will be easier for her. Wishing you peace on her move.
Your card is fabulous! Leave it to you to go outside the box with Marci, LOVE it!!!! Love what you did with the paper piecing and the colors, great embellishing, I will have to pin this one for sure!
Hugs Kelly

That sure is one wild and crazy card, Mackie! I think you worked out a lot of your frustrations on this card, in the best possible way. The patterns and colors and design are rockin'!!

I pray that all goes well with the transition of your mom into a SCF. I know it can be really hard on everyone involved. God bless. Hugs, Darnell
