Let's Celebrate At Paper Sweeties !

Hello and welcome to the 2nd Birthday Celebration

I was so excited when Debbie Marcinkiewicz of Paper Sweeties invited me to join this
How fun is this? To be included with so many talented people is a true honor! Yay!!!

The festivities will run for the entire month of August!  We have a couple sponsors who have donated prizes … including a $100 GC to the Paper Sweeties boutique – details are on the blog.  Leave a comment on the blog to be eligible!

Our photo inspiration:

My sketch inspiration:

Since this is a birthday celebration, I chose to use the darling Paper Sweeties Sending Sweet Thoughts Bundle (stamp set and matching dies)!

And here is my card:

First, I stamped the cupcake, flowers and cupcake holder with Versamark ink on vellum paper, and then sprinkled white embossing powder over the images and heat set them.
Next, I colored the reverse side of the stamped images with Ranger Distress Markers. This gives a very soft look to the sweet images.
Don't cha just love that darling cupcake???

Hopefully you have "hopped" here from the very talented Gail Lass and now will continue hopping to the super creative Aneta Mataszewska! If you get lost along the way you can go to the beginning here!

Thanks so much for celebrating Paper Sweeties 2nd Birthday!

I do love that cupcake Mackie! Actually I love the whole card!! Love that you heat embossed the cupcake and then colored on the other side, it gives such a nice effect. I also love the papers and the beautiful flowers you used on this card. Now of course you were invited to be in this hop because you are extremely talented too!! Hugs, Brenda
