Alcohol Inks

I have been MIA on this blog!!!!! I have been crafting, just not posting!
Hope everybody in blogland is doing well!

I just wanted to share one of the many cards that I made in an Alcohol Inks class that I took last Saturday at the Donna Downey's Studio. Yes, for those who know who Donna Downey is....I live only 45 minutes from her fabulous shoppe and studio! Am I a lucky girl, or what???

My fabulous teacher, Laura Curran, and I had a fabulous time! I was the only one in the class! Whoa!!!

She taught me all kinds of fun things to do with alcohol inks. She had these really pretty collage stamps. I just loved them. I am definitely gonna have to add them to my wish list. That is what I used on this card. Then she taught me how to make landscapes and scenes with the inks. I  might show that some other time (I need much more practice first!)
Laura was so talented! She has so many tips...like using a plexiglass window panel from Home Depot and double-sided tape, to hold your glossy paper  while you are inking. Or using the lid of a storage container for your work area. This probably makes no sense! I need to take photos!

Any how...just wanted to share and say hello!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
