Retro Sketches #35

Happy Sunday! It has been BEAUTIFUL here today! I thought we were going to have gray skies and wind from  hurricane Sandy, but it hasn't happened here. I feel so sorry for all those people in Sandy's path. I will pray it veers to the ocean and not to shore!

I made a very quick card today. I love this Memory Box stamp and I thought it would be perfect for this week's retrosketches challenge. I inked it up with some Versamark and heat embossed with white powder. I added some clear Stickles to the branches of the tree to look like ice glistening in the moonlight. (Unfortunately, my camera did not pick this up in the photo). The sentiment is from a MFT stamp set. I tied the sentiment banner with some silver string. This card is prettier in real life.

Thanks for stopping by today!
