I needed to make a card for a friend who just lost their uncle. I wanted to do something special and I wanted to use flowers. I looked thru my various sketches and magazines.  I cased this card from one I saw in the February CARDS magazine, by Kelly Holbrook.
The flowers are made with PTI Dearest Jane paper. Each flower is two scallop punches, one 1 3/4" circle punch and a 3/4" circle punch.  Scrunch up each circle, then fold the edges over. After you put them together, add a pretty brad for the center. The leaves are from a flower Sizzix die.

The flowers are so much fun to make that I had to make another one, but this time I used 2-sided designer paper.

Thanks for stopping by!!!!

I just LOVE both of these cards! Mackie, I have that entire pad of Dear Jane paper and this is just a FAB thing to make with them! THX for the inspiration! LOVE your leaves and layering and embossing, too!
