Thanks so very much

Another day...another card challenge!

I must admit this Play Date Cafe Color Challenge #103 was a little daunting for me!
The colors were:
Storm ~ Rust ~ Deep Sea

I had to really think about this one. I decided to use the Viva la Verve October Week 3 Sketch Challenge by Maureen Plut.

[VLVOct11Week3Sketch3.jpg]

I made the flower with the Prima Donna Petals (MFT Die-Namics) die.
This is such a cool die! Isn't this flower fabulous??

The entire flower is made with this die! I love the 3-D aspect.
However, you must use a glue gun when making this flower. Regular glue or adhesive would not hold the petals together. I then placed it on one of the cuts that I made with the
Fleur De Lis Accents (Spellbinders) die.

Thanks for stopping by!

What would we do without dies? They make the most beautiful flowers and accents, don't they? There's definitely something nautical I'm feeling with this card, and I guess it's because of our challenge colors. THe rusty paper you picked really rings in the nautical theme, though. Beautiful!

THanks for playing along with us at The Play Date Cafe. :)
