SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #11

Happy, Happy Hump day!!!!
It's time for another ...

I was inspired by both the beautiful colors and the awesome sketch!!! And here is the card that I created:




I just LOVE this fun card! It is so festive. The different shaped balloons are so cute! And the banners were perfect for the background! The stamps that I used are shown below!

On the Cake

SugarPea Designs Pattern Paper 



I stamped the different ballon images with some chalk inks and then fussy cut them out. I inked the banners with markers and curved them a little on my stamping block before stamping them onto the paper. The panels were cut with the SugarPea Designs Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle dies.

Paper Sweeties 4th Birthday Celebration



It's a party!!!!!

I thought a birthday card with a gorgeous cake would be perfect for our celebration!



This pretty cake and candles are from the Bring On the Cake stamp set. The flowers are from Sending Sweet Thoughts, and the sentiment is from Happy stamp and matching Sweet Cut.


The images were colored with Copic Markers.

GO USA!

What a beautiful night....
I'm playing with my newest SSS stamp set, and watching the Olympics! Ahhhhhh!!!!!




I stamped the images with Versamark ink onto watercolor paper.Next I heat embossed the stamped images with Hero Arts Pearl embossing powder.


I then brushed Distress inks with a waterbrush over the embossed areas to make a beautiful starry night! Added a few sequins and there you go!

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #10



Happy Wednesday!!!! Can you believe it is August already???? That means it is time to start a new month of challenges here at 

SUGARPEA DESIGNS!


As you can see....I was inspired by both the rainbow colors and that stack of colorful glasses!


 As soon as I saw the photo , I immediately thought of this fun SugarPea Designs stamp set:


 Hashtag Hipsters 



 I stamped and masked the glasses over and over with different colors of inks. (My Misti tool was great for this!) And then covered each one with Glossy Accents. 

 The sentiment comes from the new SugarPea Designs stamp:

 Celebrate All the Things:

 I stamped the sentiment onto a balloon that was die cut with the fun new SugarCuts:


 Birthday Journal Card

 This turned out to be a fun, cheerful card!

Sail Away!

Hello everybody!!! I am popping in with a quick post!


I just got some new Stampin Up stamps and dies and I couldn't wait to play with them! I was inspired by some great cards I saw on Pinterest using this Swirly Bird stamp set.  And I thought this fabulous CAS(E) this sketch challenge would be perfect to use!



And I think this card qualifies for 
The Paper Players
Tic Tac Toe challenge.

Paper Sweeties August 2016 Inspiration Challenge

Hello my stampy friends!
It's time for a new 





PLUS

It is our FOURTH Birthday!!!!


To celebrate, Debbie is giving away a

So we hope you will join this month as we celebrate!

Here is the sweet inspiration photo:


 I love all the sweet flowers and macaroons in the photo, but I was mostly inspired by the pink, aqua and green colors. 
I created a birthday card!



I started the card by sponging Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass and Picked Raspberry Distress inks through a circle stencil onto white card stock. I lightly brushed some water across the stenciled area to get a watercolor effect. Next I added lots of splatters.



I stamped the banner with the Birthday Banners stamp set and the gift boxes from the Let's Party stamp set with black Archival ink onto some white water color paper. The banners and gift boxes were colored with Zig Color Brush markers.  For lots of fun texture, I added Glossy Accents, Liquid Pearl drops and Wink of Stella Glitter pens to the images.
