The Card Concept #43

Hi everybody!!!
We are starting a new challenge here at

I was inspired this week not only by the pretty blue and yellow, but also our Guest Designer for this month...
Julee Tillman, creator of Verve Stamps!

I am a BIG fan of Julee's stamps and her stamped creations!
So I decided to make a card featuring some of her FABULOUS  VERVE stamps that I have!
(And I have quite a few)

The fun flowers on my card were made with the Verve Happy Place stamps. I just love these funky flowers! I colored them with Copic Markers, and added Glossy Accents and Liquid Pearl to give them some definition.  The sentiment is from the Verve Better Together stamps.

We hope you will join us again here at The Card Concept Challenge. We just LOVE seeing all of your beautiful creations!
Don't forget to visit my teammates for some fabulous inspiration!

November Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge

It is November First!
So that means it is time for a new Inspiration Challenge
here at

WOW!! You blew us away last month with all your gorgeous creations!

Here is our Inspiration Photo:

I was inspired by the beautiful, warm colors. Perfect for this time of the year!

I fell in love with a card I saw on Pinterest with a beautiful fall wreath! So... I thought I would give it a try! I made my wreath by stamping the blooms, hearts and leaves from the Tree O Life:Add-On stamp set over and over again in different colors.

I then cut a wreath shape with my Spellbinder Scallop Circle dies. I stamped more flowers and leaves, and die cut them with the matching Sweet Cuts. These were popped up with some foam tape, to add some dimension!

Last, I added some Paper Sweeties Creamsicle sequins, Orange Stickles, and twine and gingham check bow!

I really liked the way the wreath turned out. I hope you like it, too!

Card Concept # 42

Hello my stampy friends!
It is time for a new Card Concept Challenge!
We have a beautiful inspiration photo and colors for this challenge:

I was so inspired by the pinks and browns and pretty roses!
This is one of my favorite color combinations!

I think the Love Blooms (Reverse Confetti) stamps and matching Confetti Cuts are perfect for this card. I just love these flowers. I stamped and die cut lots of flowers and leaves and then arranged them on the brick wall. I added some sequins for some pizazz! I always gotta have a little sparkle!

I hope you will join us at

You can link up your creations HERE!
We would love to see them!

Paper Sweeties October Rewind

Welcome my stampy friends!
It is REWIND Day here at Paper Sweeties
We want to show you how easy it is to mix the newest Paper Sweeties Stamps and Sweet Cuts with older releases to make all kinds of cards and projects!

I made some cute gift tags!!!

I die cut the mittens of the Stitched Tags #2 twice! Once with white card stock and the second with red card stock. I fussy cut the cuffs of the white ones and adhered them onto tops of the red mittens. Did that make any sense???  Hopefully, you can see what I mean in the photos!
Next, I die cut the holly leaves with the Holly Days Sweet Cuts that were released last year. This is one of my FAVORITE Paper Sweeties sets! The little red berries were made with a small circle punch that I have. I added Glossy Accents to the berries, a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to the holly leaves and Rock Candy Stickles to the cuffs of the mittens.  The sentiments are from an older stamp set  called You're Invited!

I think they turned out SOOOO cute!!!!
These are going to be perfect for my gift giving this year!

Please go visit my

They are amazing!

Paper Sweeties October Release Party!

It's Release Day for the October Stamps and
Sweet Cuts here at Paper Sweeties
YAY!!!!!

I made this card with the
Sweet Cuts Stitched Tags #2 and Manger:Stand-On stamps.
I love, love, love this release!

I die cut the mittens with white card stock. I colored the hand part of the mittens with Fire Brick Distress stain and the cuffs  of the mittens with Picket Fence Distress stain. I then sponged all the edges with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I added some black and white splatters to give the mittens some interest.
I stamped and fussy cut the stars with white card stock. And then I sponged the stars and the background panels with Pumice Stone Distress ink. That is black jewelry wire twisted through the mittens! And I ADORE this design paper! It is from a holiday paper pad by Tim Hotz.
