Paper Sweeties June 2019 Rewind

Welcome to REWIND DAY

We will show you how easy it is to use the new releases with some of the older PAPER SWEETIES stamps and Sweet Cuts.

I combined the new Seas the Day and Mermaid Wishes with the older Living on Island Time  and Somewhere over the Rainbow stamp sets. The HELLO is from an older Paper Sweeties Sweet Cut! Debbie does such a great job designing her stamps to be able to work with each other so well!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Card Concept Challenge # 177- Summer Swirls

Welcome to another challenge starting today at

Look at these BOLD colors!

The first thing I thought of when I saw this inspiration board were big beautiful hot air balloons. I went to a hot air balloon festival a few years ago and it was spectacular!!! All of the balloons were bright , bold colors and it was beautiful!

I stamped the balloons and did some simple coloring with Copic Markers. I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze and Stickles to give them some texture.

I used a MFT Cloud stencil and some Salty Ocean Distress ink to make the clouds in the back ground.
The perfect sentiment is from an older Lawn Fawn stamp set.

The style of my card would be considered Clean & Simple:

One main image
Lots of open space
Limited layers and embellishements
Quick & easy to create

I hope I have inspired you to join us here at
