PAPER SWEETIES SEPTEMBER 2018 SNEAK PEEKS!

WELCOME!

It's time for our NEW September Release here at PAPER SWEETIES!

This stamp set will be PERFECT for this time of year!
Here is a SNEAK PEEK!

I made my own background paper by stamping the images of this new stamp set over and over with Black Memento ink onto Neenah Classic 85 lb white card stock. This type of card stock is perfect for coloring all the images with Copic Markers.

I used a NON Paper Sweetie product to die cut the frames.
It is a die by Simon Says Stamps called Frames.
I cut another piece of red card stock with this frame die as well. See how it also cuts a very thin frame that I inset to the stamped image frames.

d

I stamped the sentiments onto red, yellow and kraft cardstock and then cut them into strips. They are popped up with Foam tape. I just LOVE how this card turned out!

Please visit my very talented teammates for some more inspiration using this new Stamp Set!

Card Concept Challenge #97

YAY!!! The Card Concept is back from summer break!
We hope everyone has had a great summer and are ready to play with us and our new challenge!

Look at those rainbow stripes!

That was my inspiration for our new challenge.

First I created a rainbow background with a wide paint brush, water and distress inks.
When dry, I added some black paint splatters.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed the flower on some vellum with black embossing powder. The fun sentiment die cut is from Spellbinders.

Each designer chooses a style of card to create.

All of the styles are explained HERE.
I think my style of this card would be considered
Classy & Elegant:
Polished
Shiny finish
Sparkling embellishments
Rich color scheme
Sophisticated sentiments
Regal
Sweeping
Dramatic
Monochromatic
Layered Testures
Awe & Impress
Please feel free to use any of these styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles.

hope I have inspired you to join us here at
