Hello my stampy friends!
Welcome to another challenge here at the
This will be our last challenge for the summer so we can spend some time relaxing with our friends and family. Then we will be back in September!
Now look at this gorgeous inspiration photo!
I was so inspired by the beautiful roses and those bold black and red colors.
My mom is 90 years old today!
I am so blessed to still have her in my life.
So I used this inspiration board to create her birthday card.
Mom loves flowers!
When she was able, you would always find her outside working in her garden, or inside nurturing her houseplants. Me... I do NOT have a green thumb! My sister got that gene!
I made the background by stamping the roses numerous times and heat embossing them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with alcohol markers. The sentiments were die cut with black glittery paper. I layered the sentiment onto a vellum layer, because they got a little lost!
I think Mom is going to love this card!
My card style would be considered a Clean and Layered :
Clean Lines
Lots of Layers
Design papers/Embossing
Clean and Fresh Looking
Some colored images at times
Lots of White Space
All of the styles are explained HERE.
Please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles.
You can join us HERE!
Hope you have a GREAT summer!
Thanks for stopping by!
