SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #13

I am so sad!
Today is my last challenge as a design team member for SugarPea Designs!
Sniff! Sniff! I have had a wonderful time designing for SugarPea for the last 6 months! The SugarPea products are just awesome! And Wendy has been so much fun to work for!

Well... on to the inspiration board

I was inspired by the colors this time!

I started my card by stamping the wreath, acorns and leaves with Versamark ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder. Next I watercolored the back ground with Distress inks. And to add extra detail, I colored the images with Copic Markers.

I used the following Stamps and Sugar Cuts:

ChatterBox Sentiments

Funky Wreath:Spring Addition

Funky Wreath:All Seasons

ChatterBox Journal Card

We have had so much fun looking at all of your entries to the SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge!
Here is our challenge board for this week:

I was inspired by the vintage feel of the photo. It has been quite some time since I made a vintage card.  All I needed was some pretty Prima papers and some ephemera from my Tim Holtz stash.

The pretty hearts were die cut from SugarPea Designs Sweet Cuts

The sentiment was die cut with

Paper Sweeties August 2016 Release Rewind

Hello my stampy friends!!!
It's time to show you how easy it is to mix the newest Paper Sweeties Stamps and Sweet Cuts with older releases to make all kinds of cards and projects!

Here is the card I created:

First, I die cut some white card stock with the Window Sweet Cut. Next I ran it thru the Big Shot with a brick wall embossing folder. I wanted it to look like a window on a white stone wall. I cut the new Window Add-On:Element Sweet Cut with some white cardstock. I sponged the entire piece with Spiced Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress inks. I place this behind the window.
I stamped lots of flowers from the Thinking of You and Hello Spring stamp sets. I colored all of these with Copic Markers and then fussy cut each one.

Next I stamped a lady bug and a butterfly from the Bee Happy stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers. These were cut out with their matching Sweet Cuts!

I adhered all of the stamped images onto the stone wall around and under the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Hello Friend stamp set. It was stamped onto a piece of vellum that had been die cut with one of the dies from Sweet Borders.

So as you can see... Paper Sweeties stamps and dies are SO EASY to mix and match and use with each other! I just love that about Paper Sweeties!

Paper Sweeties August 2016 Release Party

Hello my stampy friends!
It is RELEASE DAY here at PAPER SWEETIES!
We are SO excited because not only is it time for a new release of stamps and dies...it is also
PAPER SWEETIES 4th Birthday!!!!

Here is the card I created today with the
NEW Sweet Cut Window!

I began this card by stamping images from the previously released stamp sets-Surf's Up, Island Time and At The Beach all over a piece of white card stock with Versamark ink. I then heat embossed all these images with white embossing powder. Next, I water colored the images with Distress inks.

Once everything was nice and I dry, I laid the new Window die onto my "designer" paper and ran it thru the Big Shot. I put foam tape on all the negative cut outs and adhered them back into the positive areas. All It needed was a fun sentiment!

I hope you have enjoyed my beach scene and I how I have  used the new Window Sweet Cut!

We hope you will play along with us this month!

Paper Sweeties August 2016 Sneak Peeks

Hello my stampy friends!!!
It is August 14th and that means it is time for SNEAK PEEKS of the newest stamps and dies to be released here at PAPER SWEETIES ! And you are going to LOVE the versatility of this new release!

I created a shaker card for today's SNEAK PEEK!
Doesn't this look like this die is going to be so much fun to create with???

The pretty flowers along the bottom of my card were stamped using the the Paper Sweetie Pretty Posies stamp set. I inked the images with black Archival ink onto some Bristol smooth card stock. This paper works fabulously with the Zig Clean Marker brushes. The sentiment is from one of my FAVORITE Paper Sweetie stamp sets-Hello Friend!
Come back tomorrow to see the RELEASE!!

We hope you will play along with us this month!
