The Card Concept Challenge #47

Hello my stampy friends!
It is time for a NEW challenge here at

I was immediately inspired by the textures in this inspiration photo!
Isn't that cake GORGEOUS!!!!!

Here is my card:

I decided to make a beautiful Wedding card!

I  pulled out my Pearlescent embossing paste and SS Waves stencil to add texture. When it dried, it left this beautiful shiny background.

I was also inspired by the flowers and leaves on the cake.
Following the challenge colors, I stamped and fussy cut lots of flowers and leaves from my PTI Twig Wreath stamp set.  I added foam tape to some of the flowers to add more dimension.

And of course, I added a pretty bow! All wreaths have to have a pretty bow!

I hope you will play with us here at The Card Concept!
The team is divided into the different styles and each designer explains how they were inspired by the challenge!   The styles are explained HERE.
So come and join us and try your hand at a brand new "style" or work in your comfort zone. It is totally up to you!

SugarPea Designs Sketch Challenge #37

Welcome to a new
Sketch Challenge here at

Here is my card:

Featuring  the My Hero Stamp Set:

I stamped my Hero with Hero Arts Black ink onto some Bristol Smooth watercolor paper, and colored him with Kuretake Watercolor brushes. I am still learning how to use these markers!
I am determined to master these things!

I was so excited when I found these designer papers from Echo Park in my stash, because I thought they were the perfect background for this little guy! After I fussy cut him out, I adhered him to the card with foam tape. Glossy Accents were added to his glasses. I surrounded him with some stars that I die cut with the Gift Tag Sugar Cuts! The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I really liked playing with this sketch!
So, I hope you will play along too! You do not have to use SugarPea Designs, but we LOVE it when you do! And if you do.....instead of  $25 gift certificate, you could win a $75 Gift Certificate to our store!
