Christmas Tags

***My reindeer tag was chosen as a Challenge Favorite at Tag You're It!***

Hello my stampy friends. I have been MIA! I have busy getting ready for the Christmas holiday, among other things! I am sure you can all relate....
But I wanted to pop in and share some tags I made as gifts for my co workers!

I had lots of fun making them. I have 10 co-workers, so I made 10 sets of tags.
I put them in these cute little strawberry containers that I found at Target. I think they liked them!
I wanted to give them early, so they could use them on their Christmas gifts.

Here is a close up of each tag:

I think this one qualifies to join in the fun at the

I hope all of you have
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

25 Days of Christmas at Paper Sweeties!

Each day this month, a different designer will post a card or project featuring PAPER SWEETIES products!  We did this last year and it was a blast! Our PAPER SWEETIES Design team will post the first 15 days of the month, and then we will have some VERY special guests posting at the end of the month! So I hope you will visit the PAPER SWEETIES blog each day for some fabulous inspiration and lots of prizes!

Now I will share my card!

I decided to feature Miss Emma today! Doesn't she look cute in her Christmas outfit? Her outfit is from the Have a Holly Jolly Holiday stamp set. I paper pieced the clothes and used Copic Markers to color her skin and hair.

The pretty Christmas lights are from the current release Basket Add-On: Baked with Love. I colored the lights with Copics and then added Glossy Accents to the little bulbs.

The sentiment on the sign is also from the Have a Holly Jolly Holiday. The little sign is from the Garden Time Sweet Cuts set. It was perfect for my little snow scene!

Now please visit the Paper Sweeties Blog each day in December for some awesome inspiration!!!

December 2016 Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge

Hello my stampy friends!
It's time for a new inspiration challenge here at
Can you believe it is already December 1???

I LOVE this month's PAPER SWEETIES Challenge!!!

These colors are SO festive!!!

Here is my card:

My card features the HOLLY DAYS stamps and matching Sweet Cuts. I colored them with Copic markers to match this fun paper. I was going for a RETRO feel!

After I colored the ornaments, I added Glossy Accents, silver Stickles and silver Liquid Pearl drops to each one. I used silver twine to hang them up!

The sentiment is from the MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment onto one of the SWEET BORDERS  Sweet Cuts. Lastly, I added some PAPER SWEETIES silver sequins! I am so in love with this brightly colored card!!

I hope we have inspired you to play with us this month!

The Card Concept Challenge #63

Hello! I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Our son came into town, which was fabulous! Of course, I ate entirely too much food!!! That is why Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!!! haha!!

Now it is time for my second favorite holiday...Christmas!!!!

Our current challenge here at the
CARD CONCEPT is perfect for this time of year!

This will be our last challenge for awhile! CARD CONCEPT is going to be taking a Christmas break, so we may spend some quality time getting ready for this beautiful season with our friends and loved ones!

I was inspired by the JOY and the greenery in the inspiration photo! I knew right away that I wanted to use my new Tim Holtz Ephemera Pack-Festive.

Most of this card was made with Tim Holtz Christmas products. If you look at the upper right corner, you can see where I used a TH stencil and embossing paste for the words-Joy and Believe.  There were two poinsettias in the ephemera pack. I glued one in place and then fussy cut the second and adhered it to the first one for some dimension.

That pretty reindeer came from TARGET!!! They had some fun Christmas items at the front of the store for cards and scrap booking, etc! Check it out!

I hope we have inspired you to join us here at
And we hope everyone has a blessed Holiday season!

Remember...the team is divided into the different styles and each designer explains how they were inspired by the challenge!  So come and join us and try your hand at a brand new "style" of card making OR work in your comfort zone! It is totally up to you!
The styles are explained HERE.

We are thrilled to be joining the

My tag features our newest Releases here at Paper Sweeties:

Heat embossing with white embossing powder and coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brushes is one of my favorite techniques to use! And lots of speckles and splatters!!

I had so much fun making this tag! I apologize that the photo is kind of shadowy. I had a heck of a time taking photos to get the colors and shading to show!

The Card Concept Challenge #62-Thanksgiving

Welcome everybody to the newest challenge here at
THE CARD CONCEPT!

I  love the sunflowers and that black & white!! I thought this color combination was fabulous!

I used and mixed lots of different dies for this card!

I knew immediately I wanted to pull out one of my favorite  flower dies-SUNFLOWERS (MFT) !

The pretty acorn and fall leaves are from STITCHED AUTUMN ICONS  (SugarPea Designs)!

That delicious apple is from HOME GROWN ( Paper Sweeties)!  The only stamping for my card is the sentiment, which is from FALL COLORS (Precious Remembrance)!

I hope we have inspired you to join us here at
