Card Concept # 42

Hello my stampy friends!
It is time for a new Card Concept Challenge!
We have a beautiful inspiration photo and colors for this challenge:

I was so inspired by the pinks and browns and pretty roses!
This is one of my favorite color combinations!

I think the Love Blooms (Reverse Confetti) stamps and matching Confetti Cuts are perfect for this card. I just love these flowers. I stamped and die cut lots of flowers and leaves and then arranged them on the brick wall. I added some sequins for some pizazz! I always gotta have a little sparkle!

I hope you will join us at

You can link up your creations HERE!
We would love to see them!

Paper Sweeties October Rewind

Welcome my stampy friends!
It is REWIND Day here at Paper Sweeties
We want to show you how easy it is to mix the newest Paper Sweeties Stamps and Sweet Cuts with older releases to make all kinds of cards and projects!

I made some cute gift tags!!!

I die cut the mittens of the Stitched Tags #2 twice! Once with white card stock and the second with red card stock. I fussy cut the cuffs of the white ones and adhered them onto tops of the red mittens. Did that make any sense???  Hopefully, you can see what I mean in the photos!
Next, I die cut the holly leaves with the Holly Days Sweet Cuts that were released last year. This is one of my FAVORITE Paper Sweeties sets! The little red berries were made with a small circle punch that I have. I added Glossy Accents to the berries, a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to the holly leaves and Rock Candy Stickles to the cuffs of the mittens.  The sentiments are from an older stamp set  called You're Invited!

I think they turned out SOOOO cute!!!!
These are going to be perfect for my gift giving this year!

Please go visit my
Paper Sweeties Teamies!
They are amazing!

Paper Sweeties October Release Party!

It's Release Day for the October Stamps and
Sweet Cuts here at Paper Sweeties
YAY!!!!!

I made this card with the
Sweet Cuts Stitched Tags #2 and Manger:Stand-On stamps.
I love, love, love this release!

I die cut the mittens with white card stock. I colored the hand part of the mittens with Fire Brick Distress stain and the cuffs  of the mittens with Picket Fence Distress stain. I then sponged all the edges with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I added some black and white splatters to give the mittens some interest.
I stamped and fussy cut the stars with white card stock. And then I sponged the stars and the background panels with Pumice Stone Distress ink. That is black jewelry wire twisted through the mittens! And I ADORE this design paper! It is from a holiday paper pad by Tim Hotz.

Paper Sweeties October Sneak Peaks

Hello my stampy friends!
It is the thirteenth of the month, so that means...
Sneak Peeks of new releases here at
 Paper Sweeties !!!

And you are going to love these new stamps for the upcoming holidays!

This is my card:

Don't Jake and Abigail look so sweet in their costumes for the church play?

I colored their skin and hair with Copic markers, but I paper pieced their robes. I added detail and shadowing on the robes with a light gray Copic Marker. The background was made by using  white distress ink and a star stencil.  And I also added some white paint splatters. I wanted it to look like they were standing in the midnight sky.

Please come back tomorrow to see some more ideas for these new stamps which will be available for purchase on the 15th!

The Card Concept #41

It is time for another challenge here at

We had so many beautiful entries this last challenge! So much talent! Wow!
So I hope you will join us again with this fabulous
photo inspiration:

I was inspired by the beautiful neutral colors and the wood grains.
Isn't this photo gorgeous!!!

Here is my card:

Sorry, my photo is a little dark!
I don't know if you heard, but it has been nothing but gray skies and rain here in Charlotte NC for the last 12 dayswhich included MORE rain this past weekend from TWO storm systems, which included Hurricane Joaquin!!!! Only thing good about it was being in my craft room and watching football!!!
(Go Panthers!)

I used my NBUS Twig Wreath (PTI) stamp and matching die cuts to make my card. I have had this set for about a month and I hadn't had a chance to ink it up. I am going to LOVE this set!!!

I hope you get a chance to play with us here at

I wanted to use this fun sketch!

Paper Sweeties October Inspiration Challenge

It is October First!
It's time for new releases here at Paper Sweeties!

And look at this GORGEOUS photo inspiration!

I was inspired by everything as you can see in my card!

I used the new Home Grown Sweet Cuts to make the pumpkins!
They are apples... I just cut off the leaf and stem!
Ta Da! Pumpkins!

I  did a little mixed media detail to this card. The pumpkins were embossed with a Tim Holtz stencil and Crackled Paste. And the background panel was embossed with another Tim Holtz stencil and embossing paste. Then everything was sponged with Distress inks.

I really, really hope you will join in the fun with us this month!!!! You could be our next Guest Designer or win a gift certificate from the Paper Sweeties Boutique!
