Super Duper

Hello crafty friends!! It is Wednesday!
And you know what that means...

Please join us!

I want to share a fun shaker card that I made with the incredibly cute Tiny Heroes (MamaElephant) stamp set.

I colored this cute little super girl with Ranger Distress Markers. I added some Glossy Accents to her mask, boots and gloves. And some red and yellow Stickles to her cape and hair. I took some jewelry wire and made her a little wand to hold!

Super Easy! Super Cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

love

Hello my stampy friends! I got an unexpected day off from work due to ice and sleet...
So that means PLAYTIME in the CRAFT ROOM!!!!

I wanted to join in the fun at

I know it is a loose interpretation, but I was inspired by the sketch!
And my new Stamps of Life die!

This time I watercolored with Twinkling H2O watercolors. I have had them for awhile, but had never used them. IRL, the colors are bright and have this cool sheen to them!

Butterfly Tag

Hello my stampy friends! It is Tuesday, so that means it is my turn to host the 7KIDS Store blog.  I am sharing a tag that I made using the gorgeous Pion Papers that we are now carrying in the store! If you haven't used the Pion papers before, let me just tell you....they are DIVINE!  I am so glad we have them in the store, now!!!

I used another beautiful butterfly from the Pen Pattern Butterflies (Stampendous) stamp set and matching dies again. They are just so pretty! I stamped the butterfly onto one of the beautiful Pion (For Father) papers with Black Memento Ink, because I was going to color it with some Copic Markers. After coloring the butterfly, I added some Cotton Candy Stickles to the wings and Glossy Accents to the body.

If you look closely, you will see where I used the ClockWork (Tim Holtz) stencil 2 ways on the background paper. First, I used my blending tool and Old Paper Distress ink and stamped thru the stencil on the corners of the right side. On the left side, I used the stencil again. But this time I applied embossing paste, then sprinkled Old Pumice Stone Distress glitter over it, before it was heat set with my heat gun. This gave the tag some sparkle and texture. I didn't add a sentiment, because I want to save it for a special occasion. Then I will decide which sentiment to use.

The bow at the top was made with crinkle ribbon, pieces of lace and pink tulle tied together with twine and a button. I then added some sequins.

Hope you like my tag! It was lots of fun to make!

Paper Sweeties February Release Party!

It's the 15th and that means it's Release Day here at Paper Sweeties!!
You are going to love these new stamps and coordinating dies and they are now available for purchase! They are perfect for this time of year as we start to think about Spring time!

My card is a clean and simple design!

My colors were inspired by the current

I found this paper that matches the Pretty Posies stamps perfectly!!!! It is the Black & White collection from Gliltz! I stamped the pretty posie on one of the BG papers, and then cut it out with the coordinating Pretty Posies Sweet Cuts. Always love that! Then I added some Wink of Stella Glitter and Glossy Accents to the posie. It really pops IRL! I added some matching leaves that also come with the Pretty Posies stamp set. The sentiment is part of the new Garden Time stamp set.  I can't finish a card without adding some pretty sequins from the Paper Sweeties Boutique!

These new stamps are now available for purchase!

Please check out my Paper Sweeties Teamies

You will be truly inspired!

Tip: I did not have sequins to match the red, so I colored some clear Paper Sweetie sequins with a Red Copic marker. It worked beautifully!

Paper Sweeties February Release Countdown!

It is February 14! Happy Valentine's Day!!!
AND it is time for the Paper Sweeties February Release Countdown! The new releases were perfect for my Valentine Card that I am sharing with you today.

Here is my card:

I die cut several hearts in red, pink and dark pink with the Pretty Posies Sweet CutsI then stamped each heart with one of the sentiments in the Garden Time stamp set. I wanted them to look like the valentine's candies that are so popular this time of year.

I made the envelope with vellum and my EK envelope punch. The little card tucked into the envelope with my "heart candies" was a tag that came with the pretty paper pad that I used.

Now go see what my Paper Sweetie Teamies have created!

Yay! It is the 13th and that means SNEAK PEAKS here at PAPER SWEETIES!!! We have some very pretty posies that will be available on the 15th of the month!

Here is my card :

I stamped these posies from the Pretty Posies stamp set, with Black Archival ink onto Tim Holtz watercolor paper. Happy Valentine!

It is almost Valentine's Day! So this Love Day Mixed Media Paper Doll (Prima) stamp set was perfect for this ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE here at 7 Kids.
Our twist for the challenge this time is Sweet Treats!

If you follow me, you know I love to watercolor! So once again...
After coloring my pretty lady with water and Ranger Distress inks, I added a few details to her dress. I applied Glossy Accents to the heart, painted the dress with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen and added dots of Viva Hologram Pearl ink to the lacy hem.

Die cut hearts, sequins and pretty paper completed the card!

Please join in the fun!

Blooming Tags

Hello my stampy friends!! It is Tuesday, so that means it time for me to host the 7KIDS Store blog!
I decided to make a tag using Blooming Tags (Penny Black)stamp set.

I stamped the image onto watercolor paper with Black Archival ink, and then colored the image with Distress inks and water.  After coloring the image, I spritzed the left over inks with a little water. Then I dragged  a piece of cream colored seam binding thru it. It made this perfectly matched ribbon for my tag!

There is still time to join our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge !
You could win a $25 Gift Certificate to the 7KIDS Store!

Paper Sweeties February Inspiration Challenge #28 - 'Sweetheart'

Hello everybody! It is the first of the month and that means it's time for another

And here is my card:

I was inspired by the colors! I just love these colors together!
Sweet Abigail was colored with Copic Markers and her clothes were paper pieced with the pretty papers of the Crush (Authentique) 6x6 paper pad. I think her little outfit turned out so cute! Her outfit is from the Have a Holly Jolly Holiday stamp set. The cupcake is also a combo of paper piecing and Copic Markers. The yummy cupcake and sentiment are from the Sending Sweet Thoughts stamp set. The stamps and Sweet Cuts from Paper Sweeties make it so much fun to create with because they are so versatile ( and also VERY cute)!!!

Now go see what my Paper Sweetie Teamies have done!
you will NOT be disappointed!
