SugarPea Design Sketch Challenge # 34

Hello my stampy friends!
Welcome to another Sketch Challenge here at
SugarPea Designs!

I had so much fun with this sketch that I made 2 cards!

And here is one with a different SugarPea Designs stamp:

First, I stamped the images with black Memento ink and then colored them with Copic Markers. I masked the images, so I could sponge Tumbled Glass Distress ink behind them. I followed the sketch by using some fun designer papers, ribbons and twine. Aren't these images the cutest???

I really hope you will play along with us! You do not have to use SugarPea Designs, but we LOVE it when you do! And if you do.....instead of  $25 gift certificate, you could win a $75 Gift Certificate to our store!

However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp, the prize will increase to $75!

Here is my card:

I needed a masculine card to send to one of our guy friends. I started looking thru my Christmas paper stash and found this paper with the deer on it! I knew this wreath from Funky Wreath-All Seasons would make the perfect frame for the deer!!!

I just love how the deer is peeking out! I added twine and these little metal pinecones that I had found at Hobby Lobby. I think this card is really elegant, but still has a masculine feel to it! I hope he likes it!

I hope you will join us!!!!
And please visit my Sugar Pea Teammates!
They are AMAZING!!!!

Paper Sweeties December Blog Hop!

Hello everybody! Welcome to Day 6 of the Paper Sweeties December Blog Hop!
We are so excited here at Paper Sweeties! We are doing things a little differently with the new December Releases! We are introducing ALL our new stamps and sweet cuts December 1-12th! Each designer was assigned a different  day to showcase these new releases...
And I have the SIXTH day!

Our Blog Hop Schedule is listed below:

December 3rd:  Maria Patrick
December 4th:  Nancy Penir
December 5th:  Kathy Schweinfurth
December 6th:  Mackie Robertson < You are here
December 7th:  Jill Norwood
December 8th:  Michelle Bala
December 9th:  Michele Henderson
December 10th:  Larissa Heskett
December 11th:  Jeri Thomas
December 12th:  Angel Johns
December 13th:  Mynnette Kitchen

To begin, I am sharing some cards that a friend of mine asked me to create. She wanted some custom Christmas cards for her niece and nephew. She wanted me to add their names to the cards, too! Well...when I saw this new SUGAR & SPICE stamp set and matching Sweet Cuts, I knew they would be perfect for this project!

There is a little pocket on the front of the cards with a surprise tag inside!

I think these turned out so cute! Each gingerbread person was cut with kraft card stock, which I then coated with Rock Candy glitter. The icing is Liquid Applique!
I printed the kid's names on the computer and then cut them out with the Hello Friend Sweet Cut.

My next cards
 use the new
Merry & Bright stamps and matching Sweet Cuts.

I used the negative die cut with this CAS card:

And this card uses the Merry & Bright die cut!  I colored the tree with Copic Markers, and attached it to a trio of pretty papers:

I had an extra gingerbread man that I had made with Sugar & Spice Bundle. I added candy from the older Paper Sweeties stamp set called Let's Party. The candy was colored with Copic Markers.

I think the candies are perfect for the Gingerbread Man!

I hope you had fun looking at all of my cards that I made with the  new December Paper Sweetie Releases!
This group of stamps and Sweet Cuts are PERFECT for this time of year!
Please visit my Paper Sweetie Teamies for the rest of the Blog Hop! You will be amazed!
