Bootastic!

How precious are these little monsters???

My card was made using a new stamp set by Mama Elephant called Bootastic!
And it has matching dies! LOVE!!!!

I colored these little monsters with Copic Markers. I added some sparkle to their hair with a Wink of Stella glitter pen. The little spider and bats were stamped with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with black embossing powder.
The spider web (Stamps of Life?) was stamped with Versamark ink onto Vellum paper. I  carefully heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I flipped it over and stamped the sentiment on the other side. It gives the spider web an eerier look IRL. Booooo!!!!
The background was made by blending Mustard Seed, Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress inks with my round blending tool. I wanted it to look like a spooky sky!

And now it is Bootastic!

Ribbon or Lace

Hello crafty friends!
It is time for a new ANYTHING GOES Challenge at 7Kids!
With a twist...Ribbon or Lace!
I chose ribbon! And pearls and doilies!!

I made this card with beautiful Graphic 45 Design papers! This selection is called Botanical Tea.
Gorgeous!!!!! I did lots of distressing and inking with a blending tool on the edges of the papers to try to give the card a nice shabby chic look.

Hope you are inspired to join our Anything Goes Challenge!!!

Paper Doll Princess

Hello crafty friends! Hope you are doing well. I have been having some family issues with my sweet aging mother.  My mom is 87 years old. She chose to live in an Assisted Living facility 8 years ago. All was well, until about 4 months ago. Now they can no longer take care of her needs and have advised us that it is time that she move to a skilled care facility. This has been an emotionally difficult time. But I have faith that things are going to work out as God has planned it. Thank goodness I can retreat to my little craft room. I find peace of mind there.

I wanted to share a card that I have made using some LaLa Land products that you can find in our 7KIDS Store!

This wild and crazy card was made with the Marci Paper Doll Princess (LaLa Land) stamp.
I colored her skin, socks, and shoes with Copic Markers. Everything else has been paper pieced!
I added some Glossy Accents to her belt and shoes.
Hope you like my crazy card!

Fall Colors

***Happy Dance! This card was chosen as a Show Stopper at Curtain Call!!!***

Have you seen the newest stamp set at the Precious Remembrance Shop called Fall Colors???
 LOVE!!!

Here is my card:

This stamp set has gorgeous fall leaves, speckles, backgrounds and great sentiments!
I had so much fun making this card! I decided to stamp the leaves with Versamark  Ink and then heat set with white embossing powder. I then sponged the leaves with Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry Ranger Distress inks. The fall leaves turned out beautifully! They really pop against the neutral background!

I am going to enter this card to the current
Curtain Call Challenge:

You light the candles....

Hello! Hope you had fabulous Labor Day weekend!
I did, because I got to play in my craft room!
So, I wanted to share a fun, crazy, colorful birthday card that I created.
Are these colors bright enough???

This is the one of the Girlfriends  stamps called Giant Cake Set (Art Impressions).  Love it!
I stamped the girlfriends with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink onto X-Press It Bright White card stock, and colored them with Copic Markers. After coloring I added some Yellow Stickles (Ranger) to the candles and a Wink of Stella glitter pen to the icing on the cake.
I don't know about ya'll, but sometimes I color without a clue as to what I am going to do with the image. That is what happened this time! And of course, I couldn't find any DP that matched how I colored the girlfriends! So I had to improvise...and this is what I came up with!
I remembered my Royal Stand Up (Sizzix) die and thought that would make the perfect easel for my stamped image.  I cut some colorful straws (Queen & Co) and made candles. I speckled the sentiment with sequins to look like confetti! And there you go...a party!!!!

I think this will be fun birthday card to give to one of my friends!

This is what the card looks like closed.
It will fit perfectly into  an A2 size envelope.

Well...thanks for stopping by!
