Hope you're feline great!

Hello crafty friends! Just wanted to share a CAS card that I made with my fun
Feline Great stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie.

Isn't this little kitty cute laying there sleeping and dreaming about his favorite treat!
I stamped him on Tim Holtz watercolor paper with Black Archival Ink. I colored him with Distress Markers. I just love coloring images this way. I use water and a small paintbrush with the Distress Markers. The markers react to water just like watercolors!
I added some Orange Stickles to the fish. And that gorgeous ribbon is from Pretty Pink Posh.
I adhered 3 black enamel dots to the lower right corner to add some balance to the design.
Check out this darling stamp set at 7Kids College Store!

I wanted to make another fun birthday card!
Isn't she fabulous?

Her name is Senior-ita Magda from Stamping Bella.  I never had a grandma like this one, but I am sure it would have been lots of fun if I had!
I stamped her with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink onto some Xpress-It Blending White card stock. I then colored her with Copic markers. I added a little fran-tage with some Stampendous Chunky White embossing powder.
Added a few flowers and red jewels from my stash and that completed the look I was going for!
I am sure my friend will get a kick out of her card! (She is a bit of a priss, if you know what I mean!)

You're a Life Saver!

***This card was chosen as one of the Favorites at CAS(E) this Sketch!!! ***

Hello crafty people!!!
Hope you are having good weekend!
I wanted to share a card that I made for a guy friend who helped us out with some stuff here at my house. So...I wanted to keep it masculine and CAS.

This is my card:

I followed the current sketch at

My card is more square than rectangle. Oops!!!!

I used my new adorable stamp set and matching dies by Lawn Fawn called Float My Boat.
The sails on the little boats were paper pieced with some scraps from the Beach Boardwalk (Carta Bella) 6x6 paper pad.. And all of the stamping was done with Versamark or VersamarkFine black ink, because I heat embossed everything.
How do you like the little life saver? I punched holes with my Crop-A-Dile and threaded some twine thru them. Does it look like rope???

I think the card turned out really cute. I just hope not too cute for a grown man!

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

It's time for another Anything Goes Challenge today here at  7Kids
I am especially excited because we decided to showcase some new stamps and dies! The Design Team members were asked to choose something new that was featured at the Winter CHA. I just fell in love with this new Steam Punk Cycle Marcie from LaLa Land.

First, I inked some water color paper with  Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass Ranger Distress inks, to make the background look like the sky.
I used watercolor paper because I wanted to use my Ranger Distress Markers. I just love these markers because they react with water and you can do some fun shading techniques with them. I stamped the image with black Archival Ink. This ink works best for watercoloring. And then the fun began....coloring!!!
LaLa Land also has this fun Steam Punk die that matches the stamp! After I cut it out, I rubbed it on my Versamark Ink pad and then heat embossed it with Ranger Super Fine Gold embossing powder. The larger gears were made with the Time Piece Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.
Of course I had to add some clouds (Lil Inker)!!!

Hope you have enjoyed my cute LaLaLand card!

Please join the fun with the current "Anything Goes" challenge!
You may be selected to win a $20 gift certificate from the 7 Kids Store!

Be sure to check out my teammates creations for some fabulous inspiration!!!

Enjoy Your Special Day

Hello!!!
It is Tuesday, therefore it is my turn to host the 7Kids Store blog today!
Woohoo!!

And this is my card....

I needed to make a birthday card for a very sweet friend and this is the card that I made for her, using the FABULOUS Tall Chloe Stem (Memory Box) die. I cut 2 stems of each designer paper to give them a 3-D effect. The background and flowers were all made with papers from the beautiful Sweet Sentiments(Graphic 45) 8X8 paper pad.
I added some washi tape and some trims and lace!
Ta Dah!!!!!

I think she really liked it! Yay!
