Ruff Day?

Hope you are not having a ruff day!!!
I don't know about where you live, but it is a gorgeous Saturday morning here in the Piedmont!
Should be a great weekend, especially for all those race fans up the road at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
I'm not much of a race fan, but there are thousands of them in our city this weekend!

On to my card...

I adore this stamp set Friendship Circles (Simon Says Stamps). It is so cute. And it has a matching die called Circular Trio. I thought they would be perfect for the CAS(E) this SKETCH #29!

I colored the little puppies with Copics. I added glossy accents to their little noses and Pink Stickles to their little bellies and cheeks! I think they turned out so cute!

Hope you have a fabulous Memorial Day week end!

Happy Mother's Day!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

This is a day to rejoice all of the mom's in the world!
Is there anything better than a mom?
I was truly blessed with my kind, sweet mom who I get to share today with.

This is the card that I will be giving my mom later today.

I totally cased  A VERY similar card made by Nicole Magouirk !

I immediately knew it would be perfect for my mom! All of the paper and stamps were from my May Simon Says Stamp of the Month kit. And the dies are all Simon Says, too. The sentiment was "stolen" from a card saw in blogland. I had to change the words a little to suit my family because I only have one child. I hope the original writer doesn't mind, but I can't find it again to give credit to where I found it !!

Again...Happy Mother's Day!

So beautiful

***This card was selected as an Honorable Mention by my peers!
I was so honored! Thanks everybody who voted!

I just love the inspiration card for Muse Challenge #15 by Jen Mitchell!
It is so soft and beautiful with the mint and the black.

So I was motivated by the design of the card and the butterfly, as well as the mint green.
this is my interpretation.

I dry embossed the white background with a cloud folder so my little butterfly could float in the sky!
I colored the butterfly(Verve) with Copic markers, added some pearls and put some black twine on him to look like his antennae. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
