thanks you so much

Great sketch!

Great colors!

Great inspiration!!!!!!!!!!!

Purple is way out of my comfort zone, but I thought this might be fun.
I had just seen a fun card made on the Simon Says Blog about stamping and embossing different panels in the same color tones just like this week's Dynamic Duo color challenge. If you look closely you can see how the polka dots are white embossed. The chevron is clear embossed. The flowers are stamped with dusty concord distress ink on white card stock, and the flowers on the last panel are stamped with white ink. I adhered this to the lavender panel. The sentiment has also been heat embossed.

The curly cues around the purple button is black jewelry wire that I curled around a brush handle.

P.S I missed both challenges...but I still love these colors!

All things Grow with Love

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a blessed day.

I wanted to share a card I made this afternoon using the beautiful colors with the current
Aqua ~ Tan ~ Cream
Such soft pretty colors!

And I used this week's Retro Sketches # 26:

The card base was embossed with a floral Sizzix folder.
The sentiment panel was cut with the Large Labels (Spellbinders).
I then stamped the flowers with Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze (SU) inks.
This stamp set is called Bloom and Grow (Verve).
Added some aqua rhinestones and a beautiful satin bow!

Polka Dots

Hello my friends! Today I am sharing a double-sided candy/gift card holder that I saw on the web site-Angie Juda-My Chic'n Scratch. It is very easy to make! Check out her tutorial!

I used some beautiful MME papers with polka dots because I wanted to enter the current challenge at Mary's Cardz TV-  and Paper Playtime - polka dots plus a sentiment.
The pretty flower was cut with the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge. I cut each layer with a different pattern paper. I then added Clear Lace Stickles to the petals. I need to get some chunky glitter! Any suggestions of your favorite glitter to use? I will put a pack of candy in the front pocket.

Front:

Flower Shoppe

I made a tag to go into the back of the candy holder.
The tag was cut at 4" with the Plantin Schoolbook  Cricut cartridge.

The little flowers on the tag were punched with an old Stampin Up triple flower punch. I cannot remember the name of this punch. It is still one of my favorites! I added little tiny buttons to the center of each flower. The leaves are a MS punch.

Sieze the Cupcake

I made these cards for some very good stampin' friends of mine.
The cupcakes were cut with the DoodleCharms Cricut cartridge. I felt this image matched the Verve stamp set Sieze the Cupcake perfectly. I decorated the icing with rhinestones and pearls. I attached the cupcake to an Action Wobble! I don't have video, so I can't show you how this little action wobble works. It is like a little spring that is attached to the back of the cupcake to make it wobble!
How cute is that?

Inside: Not sure which stamp set this is-Hero Arts???

And this is the second card-same design, just different colors.

I am going to link this card to the
because they are giving away lots of Verve goodies!

Purple elephant?

Create a Critter

Hello!!!!
Yes this is a purple elephant! I don't know why I chose to make this elephant purple.
Maybe it is because I love this paper pad- Hello Spring (Little Yellow Bicycle).
And don't you ever see purple elephants wearing hot pink flowers on their heads????
I know, I know...only in certain circumstances, hee hee!

I wanted to join in on the fun at Bitten By the Bug 2 and their challenge is -elephants,
and I needed to make a birthday card.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hopefully you won't see any purple elephants any time soon!

Best Wishes

I wanted to play with some new goodies I got yesterday at the CK Scrapbook convention.
So I decided to use the colors in the current
Grape ~ Blue ~ Green

These colors were very difficult for me. I came across this Viola (Memory Box) paper pad in my stash, and lo and behold...grape, blue and green paper!!! Yea!!!

I used the Mojo Monday sketch challenge:

Hey girl!

The challenge:  I thought said Something Country ( I didn't realize it also needed a farm animal on it)!

Well how much more country is the song "Green Tractor" by Jason Aldean???

I thought this little country gal was cute, so I decided to use her for the BBTB2 challenge.
But to my chagrin....there is no animal on the card! Sigh!
