Birthdays and Graduations Galore!!!!!

I don't know about you guys, but I have lots of reasons to make cards... and I LOVE it!
So I thought I would share them with you!
All of the people on my card list want money instead of a gift, so I made a bunch of gift cards!

I cut card stock at 12" x 9" and scored it longways at 4" and 8".
Fold it  and then cut an angle out of the back panel. Adhere and make a pocket for the cash!
This card was stamped with Wings of Love (Verve).

This card was also stamped with Wings of Love except for the Graduation Sticker.

And the last card  was made for my niece who loves foxes!
So I cut this fox with my Create a Critter cartridge and Cricut Express.

Now I had better go to the bank and get some cash!

Hope you don't mind such a long post...but these were long cards! heehee

Let your day soar!

Hello!
I just wanted to share a fun birthday card I made for my DH!

I used lots of different punches and dies!
The circles were punched from dp with a 1" circle punch and then adhered with dimensionals.
I then created a little scene with sun, clouds and a flying kite.
Sunshine and Blue skies!
Let your day soar!

I'm so grateful

I am watching American Idol as I post this!!!! I know, I know...cheesy!
But I just love that show! I'm cheering for Phillip Phillips! Such a cutie!

The card above was inspired by the beautiful colors for the current CR84FN Color Challenge

Pink ~ Aqua ~ Neutral

The papers are Hazel-MME 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment is a Verve stamp set.
I even sewed a little bit, but don't look too closely, because I just got my sewing machine and I am VERY new at this!!!!  The beautiful frame is Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Pendant die.
Added some pink seam binding...and there you go!

Thanks for stopping by!
Gotta go finish watching Idol!

HELLO!!!

I have been visiting the retro Sketches web site and working up the nerve to try one!
I just love what I have been seeing there! Such great cards! Such inspiration!

So I came up with this card!
I also got excited about color challenges after visiting Paper Trey Ink's Make it Monday post!
If you haven't seen it, please go!  It was fabulous!

Any ways.... my card was made with the Beautiful Blooms ll - 1 & 2 dies (Paper Trey Ink). I placed red and polka dot Smash tape across the card panel behind the flowers.  I tied some Swimming Pool Doodletwine across the tape. Sprinkled some red & black rhinestones! And the sentiment is Hero Arts.

This was fun! I hope you like!
And visit these 2 sites!

Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!

A quick post to show a card I made for a guy friend of ours!
I used papers from my Simon Says March 2012 kit.
I stamped and paper pieced the balloons with the stamp set HappyBday2You (Stamps of Life). The balloon strings were made with Swimming Pool twine (Doodletwine).  The sentiment is from Create a Cupcake (Stampin Up) stamp set and was stamped onto the Charming Oval (Verve) die.
